Although we are located in Red Oak IA, we service all of Montgomery County Iowa. Like any similar business, we are only as good as the people who are aware of us.

Court of Honor's website is intended to educate and inform... to be a source for information, resources, and services on local and area Military Veterans, as well as recognize NonProfit Organizations (NPO) that support our troops as well as remember those of the past. We encourage you to explore it, and we welcome your feedback. Come back often since this is a "work-in-process" and ever changing.

We also want the community to know that,

We incorporate stories and as well as information on the "United States Flag Code". Be advised also that we sell flags and flag poles, as well as provide a repository for flag disposal. We invite you to browse the 'Flag Library' and let us know if you have questions or comments.

Meet the Officer of Court of Honor(?)

We want to recognize our organization's officers that have as their goal to make a positive difference in the lives of everyone in the community that they serve. We further want to recognize the oranizations' numerous members and volunteers that dedicate their time, knowledge and experience to be a benefit the community.

...our history

In 1938, a man from Red Oak, Roy (Percy)Breese was visiting friends in Fullerton,California over Veterans Day. The friends took Roy to a cemetery near Fullerton, where he saw an "avenue of flags" on display.... It wasn't until 1961, when Roy Breese returned to Red Oak, that he told his VFW post of what he had seen that day in California.
